Hier, je suis allée en famille au Printemps musical de Touraine au Prieuré Saint-Cosme. Le thème en était "piano en liberté au féminin". Marie-Josèphe Jude, une pianiste remarquable, y a joué trois sonates de Scarlatti (K9, K33 et K 141) ainsi que la Chaconne en ré mineur de Bach (transcripte au piano pour la main gauche par Brahms), une pure merveille. Puis, Akiko Yamamoto a interprété la sonate en fa majeur K 332 de Mozart avec un enthousiasme formidable. Par contre, je n'ai pas trop aimé ni le morceau ni l'interprétation de Shani Diluka: Trois impromptus opus 142 D. 935 opus 21 de Schubert. Les deux premières pianistes étaient très différentes: l'une sobre, l'autre vivant véritablement son morceau. Dans le cas de Shani Diluka, sa respiration lourde était une gêne sonore et le morceau avait l'air assez bizarrement déconstruit.

Toutefois, il semble que les impromptus de Schubert puissent être joués de manière moins appuyée et lourde et qu'ils soient alors bien plus agréables.

I feel that whoever posted this has questionable reading credentials since he/she cannot even get my name right!
As for being professional, I am not, never pretended to be. But it seems that the people around me had the same opinion.
I suppose you must somehow be related to SD and I think it is totally uncontestable that her heavy breathing (cold?) totally interfered with her playing!
